Blog posts are considered an “Asset”, like Pages, Stories, Popups, and Custom Assets.
To begin creating a post, navigate to the main menu in the upper left hand corner (1), and choose “Blog” (2):
Add a new post with the prompt in the middle of the screen, or in the bottom left hand corner.
Fill in the predefined default fields: Title, Featured Image, and Excerpt, and save.
To create the content for the actual post, click the Edit button:
And create your content just like you do with Pages!
If you want your blog posts to use a template each time, you need to use Dynamic Templates.
You can also create additional fields for blog posts and use Dynamic Content within the Dynamic Templates.
This is excellent to setup if you don’t want to ever enter the full Station builder to input your blog post and just use a regular Rich Text editor to write your content.
When you’re ready to publish, change the status of the post from Draft to Publish and then click “update” to save the changes.
